The Professional Voice For Your Marching Band Competition

Welcome, and thank you for visiting my site!

This postcard you received is a follow-up to the initial letter I sent out in March. My name is Daniel. I am a high school teacher as well as professional voice over artist from right here in North Carolina. As an Educator, Asst. Band Director, and self-proclaimed band junkie, I’m excited for the upcoming 2022 Marching Band season. As a member of the marching band when I was student in the early 2000’s, and since becoming an asst. director, I have attended more marching band competitions over the years than I could possibly count. During that time, I have attended competitions that were amazing, the atmosphere electric, but the voice of the announcer seemed disconnected, uninterested, or worse, unsure of what was happening. You certainly don’t want people to remember your band competition in this way, and now you don’t have to!

As a professional voice artist, I have voiced hundreds of radio and TV ads, explainer videos, medical and technical narrations, and much more. Additionally, I have announced countless high school football and baseball games, emceed concerts, and introduced dozens of marching bands onto the field. During this time of year, band directors across the state are beginning to finalize plans for hosting their annual marching band competitions. One of the most important decisions to make when planning your competition is to select an announcer that has a clear and professional voice. Just as important is to have an announcer that understands the nuances of how band competitions operate (including NCBA competitions) and is genuinely excited to be a part of the competition atmosphere, connects with the audience, and draws them into the excitement. This is what your students and your competition participants deserve, and this is what I promise to deliver.

While you’re here, schedule your free, no-obligation virtual meeting to discuss the specific details and needs of your competition or simply reach out via email, text, or phone call at any time with any questions or for more information. My calendar for the 2022 marching season is almost full; only a few open dates remaining so don’t delay! I look forward to working with you to make your marching band competition a huge success!
